Key West Bears and Island House presents Woof Week Key West, the ultimate April bear escape in the sun.

The Event

• WOOF Week is the best way to welcome you in the spring. Come to Key West to play with all your favourite furry creatures – bears, cubs, otters, and more!
• Featuring pool parties, fetish nights, and international headliner, DJ James Anthony!
• WOOF Week is hosted by adult star Jason Tazarian, who will keep you in the mood!
• Guests can mix and mingle with the sexiest bear GoGos, adult entertainment stars, and outrageous drag queens throughout the event.
• Stay at the H2o Suites, an Adults only resort, 200 metres from the gay bars of Duval Street. The luxurious property with a relaxing rooftop pool and lush landscapes has a “Superb” rating and is one of our favourite places to stay when visiting the island.

The Program

• Events run daily, with pre-party events and poolside from early afternoon followed by late night parties at various venues. The event also includes a beach day take over.
• Don’t miss the pre-tea happy hours and naked Sunday pool parties.

• 12-2 pm: Big Gay Shopping experience at Graffiti on Duval St – free shots and 25% off in-store
• 5-6.30 pm: Hook-Up Happy Hour – cheap drinks and flirty furry fun at Island House
• 10pm-late: Red Light Party with Jason Tazarian – fetish & cruise party at The Birdcage Cabaret

Friday, 25th April

• 2-6.30 pm: 5 Alarm Pool Party – grab your hoses for this hot & sexy pool party hosted by Jason Tazarian at Island House – firefighter hats provided!
• 10pm-late: Midnight Mass – worship at the altar of debauchery at this silent disco cumfession on Island House’s open-air moon deck – slings, benches and cages included!

Saturday, 26th April

• 12-5 pm: Bears on the Beach – the Bears take over Key West’s LGBTQ beach, Fort Zachary Beach
• 5-6.30 pm: Bear Soup Happy Hour at Island House
• 10pm-late: WOOF Party with DJ James Anthony at The Birdcage Cabaret – experience this internationally renowned DJ making his Key West debut.
• Fort Zachary Beach is an 8-minute drive or 30-minute walk from Duval Street.
• It is affectionately nicknamed Fort Liz Taylor Beach by the LGBTQ community.

Sunday, 27th April

• 12-4 pm: Hot Naked Sunday Party at Island House – a Key West institution!
• 5-6.30 pm: Pre-Tea Happy Hour – say farewell to your new furry friends at this last happy hour at Island House.

The Venues

• Island House – An 8-minute walk from the Key West Bight Ferry Terminal, this buzzing resort for gay men is less than a mile from restaurants and bars on Duval Street.
• Host the daytime pool parties and several evening events, including a welcome party, silent disco and farewell drinks.
• The Bird Cage Cabaret – Formerly Sidebar, part of the Aquaplex complex in Key West.
• It has an enlarged stage, plush cabaret-style seating, and a sound system that’ll knock your socks off, all wrapped up with a full bar service to keep the night lively.
• Check out the top hotels closest to Duval Street. 
• Fort Zachary Beach – Located at the island’s westernmost point, this historic state park features a stunning sandy beach with pristine waters, perfect for swimming and sunbathing.
• In addition to enjoying the beach, guests can explore a well-preserved fort from the Civil War era, offering a historical aspect to their seaside escape.
• A modest entrance fee is required to access the park and beach area, regardless of whether you bring a car. It’s an excellent place to watch the sunset!

Gay Key West

• Key West has a busy and constantly changing gay scene. It makes for an idyllic escape and combines island living with a relaxed party atmosphere.
• The island is approximately 4 miles long and 1 mile wide, making it easily navigable.
• Duval Street: The primary hub for gay nightlife, bars, and events and home to popular spots including Bourbon Street Pub and 801 Bourbon Bar.
• Simonton Street: Home to the iconic Aqua Nightclub, famous for its drag shows.
• Petronia Street: Features LGBTQ+ friendly establishments like Blue Heaven.
