Thanksgiving in Provincetown
- Thursday 27th November – Sunday 30th November 2025 – Events are clustered around The Crown and Anchor and The Canteen with daily shows and a Holiday Market taking pride of place.
- One event not to be missed is the lighting of the now famous Lobster Pot Christmas Tree on the Saturday evening of the Thanksgiving Weekend.
- The PTown Christmas tree becomes the heart of later celebrations including Holly Folly and First Light

PTown’s Turkey Trot
- Awaiting dates – Typically Thursday – Pilgrim Turkey Trot 5K to Benefit Helping Our Women, 9:00 am – 11:00 am
- The 10th Annual Provincetown Pilgrim 5K Trot is back!! Please gather your entire flock on Thanksgiving morning before your big feast! This event is a fun run and walking community event for all people and pets (costumes encouraged) along Ptown’s most charming street, Commercial St.

Lighting of the Lobster Pot

- The decorated trap installation was first created to bring light & joy while highlighting the hardworking Provincetown Lobstermen. It has continued for 20 years by the Julian Popko family & amazing volunteers.

- Crown and Anchor hosts a series of events including Pink Bingo on Friday at lunchtime, and a tribute to Bing Crosby on Saturday from 6pm.
