The Venue
- The Boots is, as most people know, a gay club for men with a fetish. In the beginning, it was mainly for men who wore leather and rubber, but the gay scene has changed so much that they no longer focus only on leather or rubber. They also invite neoprene, military, uniform, sportswear, harnesses, and nude fetishists; if it’s a man in fetish gear, he is welcome.
- The venue is spread over multiple layers, including a basement with a spacious bar, a sling room and some dark corridors. Next is a mezzanine level with lockers. The main bar has a glassed-in smoking lounge and is probably the tamest part of the club.
- The Boots is a 9-minute drive from Antwerp’s old town, where you will find most of the busy gay bars and clubs.

Having said that bars and clubs (more than 30) are spread out around the city, so its best to find a hotel close to the centre and journey out to your preferred destination.
