The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix is the nation’s only vintage street race and the largest vintage race event, spanning 10 days with two race weekends, car shows, parties, parades and motorsport events.

The Grand Prix

- With the international car show ,a black-tie gala, and the only U.S. vintage race run on city streets, this event is definitely a standard for celebrating Summer in Pittsburgh.
- More than 250,000 spectators join in on the fun and contributing to this top fundraising event. Whether you plan on taking a lap on the course or parking it at an event tent, this week-long soirée has something to rev everyone’s engine.
- Visitors can see vehicles such as retro Volkswagen Buses, a line of Ford Thunderbirds, at least two DeLoreans and a Ford Model T, among others.
- Other highlights include the Shadyside Invitational Car Show, the Waterfront Car Cruise and the Downtown Parade & Car Display.
The Venue
- The event is held on the scenic course and winding curves of Schenley Park and hosts 150 vintage racers, over 2,500 show cars and 200,000 weekend spectators.
- The park is a 12 minute drive from Downtown Pittsburgh. Stay close to the park at the Oaklander Hotel rated “Fabulous” by guests with spacious rooms and high end amenities.
