The Event
- Next Edition – Awaiting dates – typically early June.
- Ogunquit, known for its beautiful coastal views, comes alive with rainbow flags, lively music, and a communal spirit during the first weekend in June.
- Pride starts with a flag raising in Veteran’s Park, followed by a community BBQ.
- Other activities throughout the weekend salute the legacy of the LGBTQ+ community in Ogunquit,
- Events include a series of parties, art exhibits and workshops, beach parties and performances.
- Enjoy the suite life at Sea Rose Suites, rated “Superb” by guests just a short walk from the centre of the Village. We love their king suites, complete with apartment-like amenities. The outdoor pool and gardens are also great for relaxing and topping up your pride tan.
The Inauguration
- Don’t miss the Pride Flag raising ceremony. This is not your average flag.
- The massive street-long Pride flag makes its way through the streets of Ogunquit.
- The flag is raised at Veterans Park at 5.30 pm, followed by the annual unveiling of a Pride crosswalk on Route 1.
The Schedule
- Each Night, enjoy themed circuit parties at Main Street with guest DJs, including a neon night, duelling drag divas and a talent evening.
- Leavitt Theatre & Ogunquit Playhouse host a series of performances and film screenings during the week leading up to the pride celebrations.
- The Helm at The Admiral’s Inn hosts a series of pride events. Don’t miss their “Taste the Rainbow” shots.
- Enjoy classic show tunes with guest performances at The Front Porch Piano Bar.
