Labor Day Weekend Gay Saugatuck 2025
Of all good things must come to an end, you might as well go out with a bang. This will be Saugatuck’s last Summer hoorah, which means it’s time to send off the season in style.
- Stay close to all the tea dances at the Blue Star Motel, rated “Excellent” by guests with a hot tub, spacious rooms and delicious breakfast options.
The Party
- Labor Day Weekend is one of the most popular end of Summer events in the USA. The beach towns of Saugatuck and Douglas hosts a weekend of parties and events featuring top international DJs, sexy gogos and live performances at The Dunes.

- Next Edition – August 28th to September 1st, 2025.
- Events take place each day from Thursday to Sunday with afternoon and evening sessions.
- Shows kick off from 9 pm to 2 am with cabaret followed by Perfect 10 Men.
- Pool parties run on Saturday to Monday from noon until 5 pm.
About the Dunes
- The Dunes is the area’s primary hub for the hottest LGBTQ entertainment, with themed parties, a live DJ, karaoke, and drag queen bingo.
- Between The Club, The Main Bar, The Show Bar, The Deck and pool, there is always something happening throughout the Summer.
Gay Saugatuck and Douglas
- Originally a lumber town and port, Saugatuck, along with the adjacent city of Douglas, became a noted art colony and tourist destination in the Arts and Crafts movement of the late 19th century.
- The correct pronunciation of Saugatuck is Saw-gu-tuck, meaning mouth of the river. Although Saugatuck-Douglas sits in what’s known to be the Bible belt of the state, it’s also home to one of America’s largest gay vacation destinations.
