- The Jack O’ Lantern Spectacular Louisville display features over 500 amazingly carved and illuminated pumpkins. Louisvillians love this annual events and folks travel from all over Kentucky, Indiana and Ohio to attend this special fall event.The Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular began in Oxford, Massachusetts in 1988.
- The Louisville event is held in Iroquois Park with 5,000 carved pumpkins illuminated at night as an “art show”.
- The show runs daily from dusk to 11 p.m., weekdays (Sunday-Thursday), and closes at midnight on Friday & Saturday.Visitors get to drive through the park to view spectacular Jack O’Lanterns so plan accordingly, pack a picnic and expect a 1 hour wait time during busy periods.
- The event is organised by Passion for Pumpkins Inc, a multimedia production company with over 27 years of experience in redefining fall by transforming any landscape into an illuminated organic gallery. It is the perfect way to brighten up an Autumn weekend.
