The Cincinnati Leather Weekend takes place at the Woodward Theater and attracts leather lovers from across the USA and beyond.
- Stay close to the theater hosting the event and the bars in the Over the Rhine district at the Symphony Hotel & Restaurant or book a stunning apartment right in the heart of the neighborhood.
The Leather Weekend
- The Cincinnati Leather contest was founded in 2012 by Randy Bridges. Randy produced the event for many years at his On Broadway bar in downtown Cincinnati.
- Contestants are all 21 and older, live in the Greater Cincinnati area and “work to grow and maintain the community through visibility, fundraising and by creating gathering spaces.”
- The competitions are held in Over-the-Rhine’s Historic Woodward Theater, built in 1913 as a theater and completely renovated and brought back to life as a modern special events hall and live music venue.
- Stay close to the competition at The Kinley Cincinnati Downtown, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, featuring chic rooms and suites with city views, 24-hour gym and excellent amenities.
The Schedule
- Events kick off on Friday with with a live drag show, and a chance to meet the contestants.
- Saturday features daytime Kink U classes that lead up to the evening’s main contest, followed by a victory dance party at Bar 901 starting at 8 p.m.
- Sunday’s brunch concludes the contest weekend with time to meet the winner, contestants, and all local and visiting leather folk at MOTR Pub.
