The Carolina Bear Lodge hosts the annual Bear Hunt in August each year in May.

The Carolina Bear Lodge hosts the annual Bear Hunt in Augusta in May.
- Visiting Augusta? Stay at the Hyatt House in downtown, the perfect location for exploring the city and all its attractions.
The Event
- Next Edition: Awaiting date, theme and lineup.
- Join bearded, husky guys from the Carolinas and beyond for one big gay party. From the mountains to the beach, bears flock from all over to visit the annual Carolina Bear Hunt.
- Events kick off with a pizza party and beareoke. Enjoy daily pool party siwth DJs and chill out with Adult Snow Cones.
- Enjoy a Picnic cookout on Friday, Brunch and dinner on Saturday and Breakfast on Sunday.
- Other events include Daddy’s Boots and Cigar party and a charity raffle.
- Nightly theme parties feature the music of the 70’s (Thur), 80’s (Fri), 90’s (Sat) and 00’s (Sun).
- Most events take place in the Metropolis Complex.
- The Pig Pen opens nightly at Parliament Resort from 11 pm.
Mr Bear Hunt
- Mr Bear Hunt Fetish Event on Friday and Swimsuit contest are held on on Saturday by the pool at 7pm.
- Don’t miss the Saturday night post-Mr Bear Hunt celebration at Edge Nightclub from 9 pm.
The Metropolis Entertainment complex
- The Metropolis Entertainment complex, is home to the Edge Club, Capri Lounge and Pig Pen fetish area and hosts special parties for all holiday weekends. The bear fest is one of the most popular. The venue is 8 minutes from downtown Augusta.
