- Brooklyn is one of the hippest places in NYC, with something for everyone, and pride is the perfect time to explore its bars, restaurants and cool things to do.

- Saturday June 14th, 2025 – Brooklyn pride is an evening parade, known as the “Twilight Pride Parade”, leaving at 7.30 pm along 5th avenue from Lincoln Place to 9th street.
Multicultural Festival/Stage Entertainment
- Saturday June 14th, 2025 – The festival brings some of Brooklyn’s finest talent to two stages in a series of concerts and performances.
- The shows kick off at 11 am and run until 5 pm in Park Slope, along 5th avenue, from 1st to 9th streets.
Gay Brooklyn
- Home to more than 2 million people, Brooklyn is the most populated part of New York City with a diverse collection of people, cuisine and cultures. It is easily accessible from Manhattan and is home to the impressive Brooklyn Museum.
- Brooklyn is large, and the gay bars are spread across multiple neighbourhoods. Start your night in Park Slope and then hit the busier bars in Crown Heights and Bed-Stuy later in the evening. The gay clubs are concentrated in Williamsburg.
- LGBTQIA+ Brooklynites had traditionally crossed over the bridge to Manhattan seeking the gay community. In 1996 pride was created to bring visibility to the multicultural gay community in the borough. Since then, the event has become one of the most attended events in Brooklyn.
Dining in Brooklyn
- Foodies should head straight to the neighbourhoods of Williamsburg and Greenpoint, where you can taste the best in world cuisine. Pay a visit to the Brooklyn Barge Bar, a floating barge on the East River serving delicious food and drinks during the Summer season.
- And no trip to Brooklyn would be complete without sampling Joe’s Pizza, in Williamsburg, a favourite with NYC celebrities. For excellent creole cuisine, head to the Gumbo Bros, or try some Cuban dishes at Habana Outpost. Finally, for some Berlin Fare and the best doner döner in the city, try DeKalb Market Hall.
- Stay close to the gay clubs of Williamsburg at The William Vale with an epic rooftop pool and stunning views; it is has everything you need for the perfect stay.
- For a “loft living” experience, check out The Box House Hotel with stunning interiors and excellent service, rated “Fabulous” by guests and close to all Brooklyn’s top attractions.
Gay Bars and Clubs
- Brooklyn is home to New York city’s top gay nightlife venues. The Metropolitan is one of the most popular nightspots with regular shows and A list clientele. Further down the street, you will find Macri Park, similar to The Metropolitan. It’s pretty standard for people to move back and forth between both bars during a night out in Brooklyn. Close by, The Rosemont has a spacious patio and a relaxed vibe with drag shows and a small dance floor.
- House of Yes, is one of our favourite gay clubs in Bushwick. They host the monthly Bad Behaviour night full of costumes, glitter and disco balls. Elsewhere is just a few blocks from House of Yes and offers a similar vibe in a large location. Meanwhile, 3 dollar bill is home to some of New York’s biggest circuit events.
- 5th Avenue in Park Slope is a bustling area full of nightlife options including Gay-friendly bars Commonwealth and Branded Saloon host pop up gay parties from time to time.
