The Show
- Next Edition: Sunday 22nd June, 2025 – Held the weekend before New York Pride.
- Broadway Bares was created in 1992 by Tony Award-winning director and choreographer Jerry Mitchell, then a Broadway dancer, as a way to raise awareness and money for those living with HIV/AIDS. In Broadway Bares‘ first year, Mitchell and six of his friends danced on a New York City bar and raised $8,000.
- Two scintillating shows at 9:30 pm and midnight will feature full-out production numbers with more than 150 tantalizing dancers and beloved Broadway stars. This year’s theme and special guests will be announced later this spring. The event celebrates its 31st anniversary in 2023.
- The 30 editions of Broadway Bares have raised more than $22 million for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
