- Alterego hosts regular theme night parties and spectacular drag shows in the centre of Budapest. The party has been running for almost a decade.
- The club opens at 10 pm and runs until 6 am. Prepare to be wowed by the stunning drag performers at midnight featuring Lady Domper, a fixture of the Budapest gay scene.
- The one-hour event features stand-up, dance performances, and lip syncs by several drag queens.

The Venue
- Alterego is located on Dessewffy U, 33 and features four different bars offering different drink specials during each event and two dance floors playing pop and house/trance.
- The club has several booths where you can take a break between dancing, an outside chilling and smoking area, and a free cloakroom.
- Party nights in Alterego attract many guys of all types, young and old, locals and tourists.

This “Paris of the East” has long been known as a gay center of Eastern Europe, but things have really taken off since reintegration with the West. There is no single gay neighborhood, but most gay-popular bars and clubs can be found in Pest in the 5th, 6th, 7th, and 9th districts, many within walking distance of one another. Defining lines aren’t drawn as sharply here as in the West – except at men’s saunas or cruise bars – and people mix more.
